Our more than 100 volunteers, or associates, play a significant role here everyday. They spend time with residents and assist staff with everyday tasks, special projects and events.

Volunteer individually or form a group consisting of friends, co-workers or church members. We also have a Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton high school program and Trinity Lutheran school program, which is a great way for young people to build fascinating relationships.

In addition to building relationships with people, we also have a pet therapy dog volunteer named Rio who visits every other week.

Whispering Creek uses donations to enhance the quality of care we are able to offer our residents. Recently thorough the support of charitable gifts we were able to remodel our outdoor patio. The remodeled area allows for an increase in therapeutic garden space for residents and an enjoyable, comfortable area for our residents to get sunshine outdoors. Charitable gifts do make a difference.
